The government has decided to introduce a new law to bring back and forfeit black money held in offshore accounts by politicians and criminals.
It has informed the International Monetary Fund that it would follow its advice and take measures to recover the money swindled by politicians or earned by criminals.
The justice minister has assured the new law would be formulated by March 2024 and tabled in parliament.
