President Ranil Wickremesinghe now seems to understand that things are not proceeding the way he intends them to be.
He is worried that not even the state media gives proper publicity to what the government does.
“Bandula does not look after media and transport. He is concerned only with highways. Do not hope Bandula will give publicity,” a former minister friend told the president not very long ago.
Whatever the truth is, it is now said that Mahindananda has been handed over a campaign to promote the government. Lansa is in charge of a contract to attack the opposition.
