A brain-dead Sri Lankan’s key organs have been donated in Italy with the consent of his family.
Shamila Fernando, 35, had been receiving treatment at the ICU of a hospital at Sicily.
With the consent of his wife, mother and the two brothers, doctors removed his kidneys, heart, liver and the eyes for transplanting to the needy.
