Certain actions by president Ranil Wickremesinghe go against the policies of the SLPP, said its national organizer Namal Rajapaksa.
“Although we appointed him and supported him, we do not agree on certain matters. We supported certain acts presented by him, but there are matters we disagreed on,” he said.
Rajapaksa was speaking at a SLPP electoral convention in Medawachchiya, Anuradhapura.
He claimed the SLPP was the only party that implemented policies to give value to every inch of the country.
Therefore, the strongest political force is the SLPP built on the strength of Mahinda Rajapaksa.
It will also be the political force of the next generation, he added.
