Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has attributed the country’s economic bankruptcy to the implementation of unproductive projects with borrowed money for image-building.
Ways of recovering the money thus wasted should be considered, he said after handing over a smart classroom to Sri Pemananda junior school in Weeraketiya.
If the country is to come out of this situation, her children should be given a good education, the opposition leader stressed.
