MP Patali Champika Ranawaka says his facebook account will give the prices of essential commodities on every Monday based on the information he gathers.
The prices at the unloading, wholesale and retail stages will be made available accordingly, he told the media yesterday (09).
The URF leader urged other MPs to follow suit and inform the public about commodity prices similarly.
He added that consumers should rise up for their rights and against unfair trade practices.
