Public security minister Tiran Alles yesterday (15) afternoon complained to the CID against FSP activist Duminda Nagamuwa over a statement he has made.
The complaint refers to a claim by Nagamuwa at a media briefing on 12 August that Alles and the JVP were maintaining an offshore account in an European island.
The minister said he has always ordered for the enforcement of the law irrespective of positions and that he expected the same would apply to this matter as well.
He added that people should know the truth behind such allegations, said a statement issued by the minister’s media secretary Akila Tennakoon.
