Ven. Rajangane Saddharathana Thero who was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), and produced to the Fort Magistrate's Court, was remanded till June 07, said Sri Lanka Police.
He was arrested by the CID last night in the Srawasthipura area in Anuradhapura.
The Thero was arrested in Anuradhapra on the charge of making comments that harm religious co-existence in Sri Lanka.
