Tharushi Karunarathna, who finished last in her heat, will have another go at the women’s 800 metres at the Olympics today (03).
She will compete in the repechage round that provides competitors who did not qualify directly from the heats a second chance to progress.
In the heat, she finished 8th with a timing of two minutes and 7.76 seconds.
