Sri Lanka pulled off a thrilling one-run against Pakistan in Sylhet yesterday (13) to advance to the final of the Women’s Asia Cup cricket tournament 2022.

This is the first time Sri Lanka has qualified for a final since the tournament shifted to T20 format.

In their semi-final against Pakistan, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to take first lease of the wicket.

They reached 122 for six at the end of their 20 overs.

Pakistan in their run chase of 123, needed nine off the final over.

They managed only eight runs.

In the other semi-final, India coasted to a 74-run win against Thailand.

Sri Lanka and India will meet in the final tomorrow at the same venue.
