Sri Lanka will be in a worse situation than Bangladesh if the executive and the legislature refuse to accept the Supreme Court ruling with regard to the police chief, warned president’s counsel Upul Jayasuriya.
A second ‘Aragalaya’ will be unavoidable, he said at a media briefing on a national convention on legal reforms for a system change in Colombo on 07 August.
The key concept of the event will be to facilitate a public dialogue on legal reforms for a system change, he said.
