Businessman Dhammika Perera has informed SLPP general secretary Sagara Kariyawasam in writing that he will not be the party’s candidate at the 2024 presidential election due to a personal reason.
In his letter dated today (06), Perera extended his heartiest thanks to the party leadership, Kariyawasam and all other party representatives for having proposed him to be their candidate.
He also offered best wishes for the party’s advancement and success in future endeavours.
