The National People's Power (NPP) has described the no-confidence motion moved against health minister Keheliya Rambukwella as nothing but an attempt to popularize ministers.
Its central committee member Sunil Handunnetti said such futile attempts would only suppress the real issues. He was speaking to ‘Rathu Katta’ programme of Neth News.
The no-faith motion against Rambukwella will be taken up for debate during the first week of September, the parliamentary affairs committee decided yesterday (11).
Chief opposition whip Lakshman Kiriella said a three-day debate would take place.
