A Sri Lankan woman who was working as a domestic aide in Malaysia died after falling from the second floor of an apartment complex.
Renuka Nilanthi Bandara, a 42-year-old resident of Aralugaswewa,Kobeigane, Kurunegala is the victim. It has been revealed that she had travelled abroad on a tourist visa and obtained the job through a friend of hers on December 18, 2022.
On May 23, she told her husband over the phone that she was unable to carry on work in the house in question and that she would find work elsewhere.
In such a background, it has been informed that she fell to her death from the window of the second floor of the apartment where she was staying last night (24) and her husband alleges that her death is suspicious.
