A new political front named Janaraja Peramuna will be launched to coincide with Republic Day on May 22, said leader of the 43 Brigade Patali Champika Ranawaka.
The MP called on the chief prelates of the Malwatte and Asgiriya Buddhist chapters in Kandy yesterday (15) to brief them about the new political move.
Later, Ranawaka addressed the media and said the Janaraja Peramuna will answer the people’s search for a new political party after being disappointed with traditional political parties.
