SJB MP for Nuwara Eliya Vadivel Suresh said he has started a new political journey together with government minister Harin Fernando.
Suresh attended a meeting chaired by the tourism and land minister in Badulla yesterday (14).
The MP said party differences were of no consequence to him, and that he would contest elections together with minister Fernando.
Right time has come for both of them to go on together, he added.
SJB vice chairman supports Ranil's re-election
Vice Chairman of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and former minister P. Harrison has pledged his unconditional support to president Ranil Wickremesinghe in the next Presidential Election.
Speaking to the media in Anuradhapura, the former parliamentarian stated that along with him, almost 100 Pradeshiya Sabha members are ready to unconditionally support the president in his run-up to be re-elected as the president of Sri Lanka, adding that a majority of the SJB are also ready to join them.
