Veteran actor G.R. Perera passed away today (01) at the age of 83.
He had acted in more than 600 television serials and 40 films in a career spanning over five decades.
His first film was ‘Welikathara’ in 1971 directed by D.B. Nihalsinghe.
Funeral arrangements are to be notified later.
