State minister of indigenous medicine Sisira Jayakody has demanded the immediate resignation of chairperson of the Ayurvedic Drugs Corporation Sagala Abeyawickrama.
Or else, she will be removed from the position tomorrow, he has told her.
Abeywickrama was given the posting by Pavithra Wanniarachchi when she was the health minister at a request of the women’s wing of the SLPP.
