The SLPP has risen up from the ashes like the Greek mythical bird phoenix, said its MP Sanjeewa Edirimanne.
Speaking at a party meeting in Yatiyantota yesterday (08), he said much remained to be done on behalf of the honest people who placed their trust in the party.
Edirimanne claimed that SJB leader Sajith Premadasa was now without the support of both his MPs in Kalutara – Kumar Welgama and Rajitha Senarartne.
He said he has come to know that the two MPs from Kegalle too, are not with the SJB anymore.
The SLPP also expanded its activities in Angunukolapelessa and held another meeting in Kolonnawa electorate.
