Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa is now paying for the sin he had committed when he broke away from the UNP to form the SJB, claimed SLPP MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena.
Sajith had wanted to destroy the UNP then, but now some of his SJB MPs are going to join the government, he told the media yesterday (04).
With the country stabilizing and economy building, it appears the SJB is finished, with its members deserting him and returning to Sirikotha, said Abeygunawardena.
The SLPP MP urged the president to hold the local government polls.
