The widow of former president Ranasinghe Premadasa has returned her official residence which she did not use, according to SJB sources.
It happened on March 31, almost 30 years after the death of president Premadasa. All this long, Hema Premadasa has been residing at her private home.
Of late, certain political activists had been criticizing her for having a residence provided by the state.
The widow of any president is entitled, as per the constitution, to an official residence.
