An armed bodyguard of a Buddhist monk has threatened Muslim and Tamil people who had been protesting against land grabbing in Pulmoddai, alleged Journalists for Democracy – Sri Lanka.
Buddhist monk Panamure Thilakawansa’s bodyguard threatened them at gunpoint on April 01 at Ponmalaikuda, it said.
The people were opposing a land grab attempt by monks escorted by the military, JDS added.
