The Election Commission is to be probed over its failure to inform parliament with regard to the holding of the local government polls.
Appointing a select committee for the purpose has been included in the House agenda.
It follows a written request by 14 MPs for a PSC to look into if their privileges had been breached by EC’s not informing parliament about the LG polls and to submit appropriate recommendations.
