A fundamental rights petition filed by SJB’s Mujibur Rahman in connection with the local government polls will be taken up for hearing on February 16, the Supreme Court has decided.
The petitioner is seeking an order to the government to hold the election without any postponement.
A two-member SC bench yesterday (07) fixed the date for the FR petition that alleges the government was making various attempts to get the LG polls put off.
