Relatives of missing persons carried out a protest at Tirukkovil in Ampara yesterday (30).
They demanded justice for victims of enforced disappearances and called for an international investigation.
The protestors also rejected a Rs. 200,000 compensation offered by the government.
Meanwhile, Journalists for Democracy – Sri Lanka reported that plainclothes intelligence officers were seen filming the protestors.
