President Ranil Wickremesinghe still remains undecided whether to accept the resignation of P.S.M. Charles from the Election Commission.
Wickremesinghe will take a decision soon on the resignation letter sent by Charles on January 25, Presidential Secretariat sources said.
Both chairman of the Election Commission Nimal Punchihewa and speaker of parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena have said that they were yet to be officially intimated about any EC member having resigned.
