Sri Lanka has won the gold award at the Asia-Pacific ICT Alliance Awards 2022 in Islamabad, Pakistan.
The Sabaragamuwa province Education Department represented the country at the week-long event attended by 17 countries in the region.
‘Sipthathu’, a software developed by three of its officers for human resources administration and management in education, won this year’s APICTA top award.
Launched in 2017, the software was sponsored by the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council.
