A Chinese donation of essential medicines and medical equipment worth Rs. two billion arrived in Colombo yesterday (06), said the Chinese embassy.
The 24 container-loads have a total weight of more than 225 tonnes, it said.
Since June, China has donated medicines worth more than Rs. five billion to Sri Lanka.
