Yesterday (19) marked 22 years since the killing of journalist Nimalarajan Mylvaganam in Jaffna.
Remembrance events were held by the Vavuniya Press Club and relatives of missing persons.
Nimalarajan was gunned down on October 19, 2000, with the EPDP accused of involvement.
Despite several arrests, no one has so far been sentenced over the killing.
The last suspect was taken into custody by the London Metropolitan police in February this year.
