Sri Lanka has qualified to face India in today’s (01) final of the Road Safety World Series in Raipur.

They overcame West Indies by 14 runs to advance unbeaten just like their opponents, the hosts.

In their semi-final, Sri Lanka legends were asked to bat first by West Indies, and they posted 172 for nine in their allotted 20 overs.

Ishan Jayasuriya top-scored with a 19-ball 31, while Sanath Jayasuriya (26) and Jeevan Mendis (25) made useful contributions.

In reply, West Indies managed only 158 for seven, despite a 39-ball 63 by Narsingh Deonarine.

Player-of-the-match Nuwan Kulasekara bagged two for 26 in bowling for the Sri Lankans.
