An activist at the Galle Face promenade protest site, Avishka Viraj Konara, has been asked to report to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at 9.30 am today (21).
Also a popular social media activist, he is to give a statement with regard to alleged forced entry to the prime minister’s office on July 13 and damaging its property.
Another activist, Pasindu Madushanka Jayasinghe too, has been summoned to the CCD today.
No reason has been given for his summoning.
