The Maliban Group says it has brought down the prices of its biscuit products.
In a statement, it says the prices had to be increased previously in view of the increase in production costs due to the country’s situation in the past few months.
With the prices of several raw materials decreased now, the prices of biscuits have been reduced accordingly, it says.
High prices made biscuits unaffordable and leading biscuit manufacturers, fearing the closure of their businesses, recently made an appeal at a media briefing to consumers to buy their products.
