A total of 171,497 students have qualified for university entrance as per results of the GCE advanced level examination 2021 that were released yesterday (28).
That amounts to 62.9 per cent of the total number of applicants, a marginal reduction from the 64.39 pc in the previous year, said the Department of Examinations.
A total of 272,682 applicants sat for the examination that was held from February 07 to March 05.
