In keeping with the traditional practice in Sri Lanka of holding religious ceremonies to mark the passage of three months of a person’s passing, the "Samaraweera Foundation" has made the following arrangements to honour and remember former minister Mangala Samaraweera.

The late Mangala Samaraweera’s ashes will be placed at the ‘Restpect’ Jayaratne VIP Parlour, 483, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 08, for the public to pay their respects from 10 am to 6 pm.
26th November 2021, 2.00 - 4.00 pm (Matara)
The late Mangala Samarawecra’s ashes will be placed at the Olanda Dutch Market in Nupe, Matara, for the public to pay their respects, after which the ashes will be taken, in procession, to the Matara Cemetery, for internment in the Samaraweera family grave.
The Samaraweera Foundation has kindly requested all those who pay their respects through physical presence on 25th and 26th November to observe COVID safety precautions.
