The SJB has decided against giving nominations at the upcoming presidential polls to anyone accused of fraud or corruption.
Its leader Sajith Premadasa has instructed general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara to initiate inquiries against those alleged to have received bar permits and other perks from the previous regime.
He has already decided not to give nominations to two ex-MPs from Kurunegala and Gampaha since it has been established that they had received liquor licenses from Ranil Wickremesinghe.
