The NSSP has urged the new government to expedite investigations into mass graves and reveal the truth behind them.
Priyantha Wickremesinghe, who contested for the presidency from that party, made the call when he addressed the media in Colombo on 26 September.
There are grave issues with regard to the gravesites found from the north and the south, he noted.
People should be given a clear answer at a time when a serious dialogue was on about enforced disappearances, he added.
