Several changes were made to the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and the alliance led by it by opposition leader Sajith Premadasa today (27).
Accordingly, Imitiaz Bakeer Marker will be the chairman of the SJB for the current year.
Sarath Fonseka resigned from that position before the presidential polls.
Other positions of the party will remain unchanged.
The Samagi Jana Sandanaya will have Kabir Hashim as its general secretary.
Also, Harshana Rajakaruna has been appointed Gampaha district chairman of the alliance.
