Incumbent Ranil Wickremesinghe has described the change he has brought about since taking over the presidency.
People were given a hope for life and a future by taking the country forward with the help of the remaining ones after half of the MPs gave up the country, he said.
In a TikTok interview with Ashen Senarathna, he said he nullified the conventional politics, and with global support, gave relief to the people.
Wickremesinghe gave a lengthy reply when inquired about a curse of 76 years.
