The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is having an internal battle for premiership even before the presidential election is held.
According to 'Deshaya', both its general secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara and chief opposition whip Lakshman Kiriella are having hopes for that position.
Many MPs are publicly referring to the two, with majority support going to Madduma Bandara.
However, an undue tussle between the two could make the party decide on someone else.
